Waitlist Policy

Santa Fe Little League is committed to providing as many opportunities for youth participation as possible. Our ability to accommodate players is determined by available field space, volunteer managers and coaches, and the number of teams we can responsibly form within each division. As our league continues to grow, we must implement procedures that allow us to operate efficiently and maintain a high-quality experience for all participants.

How Waitlisted Placement Works

As our league continues to grow, some divisions may reach their player capacity based on team limits and field availability. When this happens, families will see a waitlist option during registration.

Joining the waitlist simply means the division is nearing its maximum size and we are finalizing team placements. It does not mean your player will be excluded from the season. All players who register through the waitlist will be assigned to a team once we complete our placement process.

If the waitlist appears when you register, please proceed with signing up. This helps us manage rosters accurately and ensures every player is accounted for as we prepare for the upcoming season.

If you have any questions about the waitlist or registration, please contact us and we’ll be happy to assist.

When a waitlisted player is added, the family will be contacted by email to complete payment. A player is not officially rostered until payment is received.
